I think African Grays are my favorite parrot species. They are so incredibly smart and I just love some of the sounds they can mimic! I worked with two who were able to mimic a truck's back-up beeper and our radios. It was always a trip to think you pressed a button on your radio, but it was actually the birds!
Known for its skill at mimicking sounds, some African Gray Parrots can "speak" over 700 words.
